Transfer voltage control method for electrophotographic imaging process

The transfer voltage control method detects the electrical resistance between an organic photoconductive imaging drum and a transfer roller upon application of a first transfer voltage before the recording sheet is passed between them, for supplying the transfer roller with a second transfer voltage, dependent on the measured resistance, during the image transfer process.
