Elastomeric composition crosslinkable with organic peroxides, comprising an ethylene/propylene/diene copolymer (EPDM), at least one filler (e.g. carbon black) and a metal salt of an alpha , beta -unsaturated acid, contains an additive that reacts with the metal salt to enhance crosslinking, the additive being an elastomer grafted with maleic anhydride (MA). An Independent claim is also included for a power transmission belt made from the above composition.
