Support for escalator or moving walkway

At one end of the escalator is a securing element (9) serving as a rotary point whilst at the other end of the escalator are resilient bearings (10,15) for taking up the lateral movements and for centring the staircase. The securing element has a bolt (9.1) supported by a support bearing (9.5) on the structural side and passing through a bore (6.1) provided in the centre axis of the staircase.
