Operating device for a bowden cable

A bracket (1) is fixed to a wall, especially to the vehicle's bodywork. A swivel lever arrangement is fixed to the bracket and incorporates a separate lever (4) and suspension piece (3) for one end of the Bowden wire. The lever and suspension piece are joined by a plug-in connection consisting of a round part of the lever, and a holder (12) on the suspension piece. The connection has an axially operating fastening element (5). The fastening element has a U-shaped basic body (23), and two catches (26) facing each other and spaced apart, and fixed to arms (25) of the U by means of front (27) and back (28) bridge pieces. The catches grip elastically behind a back-tapered part (14) on a pin (13) moulded on the suspension piece.
