Disclosed is a method for separating nucleic acids by hydrophobic interaction chromatography. The purpose is to provide a method for separating and purifying nucleic acids by hydrophobic interaction chromatography, which enables to separate nucleic acids such as plasmids and DNA fragments in a shorter time.
