The multilayered paper or paperboard web formation arrangement comprises two twin wire type forming units (101,102), each having a forming roll (109,111) to form a fibrous web with higher fine content at one side than at other. Forming units are arranged relative to each other so as to place the web sides having highest fine content in contact with each other, to couch together to form multilayered web. The arrangement further comprises a couch device (117) to couch together the fibrous web having higher content of fines at one side with the other fibrous web to form multilayered web. An Independent claim is also included for a method of forming a multilayered paper or paperboard web from stock suspensions having papermaking fibers, and fines. |
