PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a press contact state of a transfer belt with the photoreceptor capable of being switched, with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A can 94 fixed on a periphery of the cam shaft 93 is held in contact with a secondary push up plate 92 from below by its long radius peripheral part 98, and made possible to hold the secondary push up plate 92 at the position shown in the figure. Then, in the state of the secondary push up plate 92 held at the position shown in the figure, the primary push up plate 91 is held at the position shown in the figure by a tip edge of the secondary push up plate 92. In such a state, the transport belt 23 is held in press contact with photoreceptors 11B, 11M, 11C and 11Y. When the cam 94 is rotated from this state, and the long radius peripheral part 98 is detached from the secondary push up plate 92, the transporting belt 23 is released from the state of being held in press contact with the potoreceptors 11M, 11C and 11Y. Moreover, when the long radius peripheral part 98 of the cam 94 is detached from the primary push up plate 91 and the secondary push up plate 92, the transporting belt 23 is released from a state of being held in press-contact with every photoreceptor 11B, 11M, 11C and 11Y. |
