PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small, light-weight battery with large charge/discharge capacity by using a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a polymer electrolyte comprising a polyether copolymer having weight average molecular weight in the specified range or its crosslinked material and an electrolyte salt compound. SOLUTION: A polymer electrolyte for constituting a polymer battery consists of a polyether copolymer having 0.5-99 molar % repeating unit derived from a monomer represented by formula I, 99.5-1 molar % repeating unit derived from a monomer represented by formula II, 0-15 molar % repeating unit derived from a monomer having at least one epoxy group and at least one reactive functional group, and a weight average molecular weight of 10<3> -10<7> , or its crosslinked material, and an electrolyte salt compound. The polyether copolymer substantially increase ionic conductivity. In formula I, R<1> , R<2> represent C1-12 alkyl group, C2-8 alkenyl group, C3-8 cycloalkyl group, C6-14 aryl group, C7-12 aralkyl group, and tetrahydropyranyl group, and (m), (n) are 1-12. |
