PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solar battery in which degradation of characteristic which is to be caused by ultraviolet rays is little, and obtain a solar battery of low cost in which initial photoelectric conversion efficiency is high and degradation of characteristic which is to be caused by ultraviolet rays is little, in a dye sensitizing type wet solar battery. SOLUTION: In a solar battery constituted of a metal oxide semiconductor electrode 4, dye absorbed on the electrode 4, electrolyte having oxidation- reduction pairs, and a counter electrode 7, a member 1 absorbing ultraviolet rays is arranged at least on the plane of light incidence. Thereby, ultraviolet rays contained in solar rays or the like are absorbed by the above member 1 and do not reach the inside of a photoelectric transducer so that degradation of characteristic can be reduced, and reliability can be improved. |
