<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a FRP(fiber reinforced plastic) golf shaft of offering a fine appearance and having satisfying characteristics for modulus of rupture, torsion and bending rigidity. SOLUTION: For the golf shaft, an internal braided layer 2 is formed to be one layer structure by braiding the braiding yarn 2a, 2b, which are made of tow prepreg of carbon fibers that is impregnated with a resin for molding previously, with each orientation angle at +35 degrees to +55 degrees, -35 degrees to -55 degrees. Then the layer, as the external braided layer 3, is formed to laminate three layers by braiding the braiding yarn 3a, 3b, which are made of tow prepreg of carbon fibers that has the same characteristics to the internal braided layer 2, with each orientation angle at +5 degrees to +10 degrees, -5 degrees to -10 degrees and a center yarn 3c at 0 degree.</p> |
