摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously and relatively easily encode plural asynchronizing video signals by providing a means for synchronizing plural video input signals for synchronizing the plural video input signal into the same frame cycle, operating screen synthesis, and compression-encoding the synthetic image. SOLUTION: In this encoding method, plural video input signals 101, 102, 103, and 104 are inputted to each frame synchronizing circuit 4a, 4b, 4c, and 4d. A signal 140 indicating a frame period being a reference is inputted to those frame synchronizing circuits, and the video input signals 101, 102, 103, and 104 are converted into video signals 131, 132, 133, and 134 synchronizing with the reference frame synchronizing signal 140. Afterwards, a video signal 110 screen-synchronized by the screen synchronizing circuit 3 is encoded into encoded data 121 by a compression coder 1, and even when the video input signals 101, 102, 103, and 104 are made asynchronous with each other, the screen synthesis can be attained.</p>
