PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject coating material, having a sufficient electroconductivity and transparency, and giving an antistatic plate coated with a cured film of sufficient surface hardness by including a specific curable compound and electroconductive particles having a specific size in a specific wt. ratio. SOLUTION: This coating material contains (A) a curable compound [e.g. trimethylolpropane tri(meth)acrylate or trimethylolethane tri(meth)acrylate] or oligomer having at least 3 (meth)acryloyloxy groups, and (B) electroconductive particles (e.g. of antimony-doped tin oxide or titanium oxide) having a primary particle size of 0.01μm or less at 2 to 7 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the component A. It can be incorporated with a curable compound other than the component A at 50 pts.wt. or less per 100 pts.wt. of the component A, in order to impart, e.g. flexibility to the cured coating film.
