<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit that has advantages of both a voltage monitor type AGC circuit and a power monitor AGC circuit. SOLUTION: This receiver is provided with a control level changeover circuit 19 that connects either of a voltage monitor type AGC circuit 20 and a power monitor AGC circuit 21 to a variable amplifier 16. In the case that an output level monitor circuit 22 detects a presence of a significant voltage difference between an Ich base band output signal 7 and a Qch base band output signal 8, the voltage monitor type AGC circuit 20 connects to the variable amplifier 16, and in the case that the output level monitor circuit 22 detects absence of a significant voltage difference between them, the power monitor type AGC circuit 21 connects to the variable amplifier 16. When no clock synchronization is established, none of the voltage monitor type AGC circuit 20 and the power monitor AGC circuit 21 connects to the variable amplifier 16 and the variable amplifier 16 amplifies the signal at a constant gain.</p> |
