<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the abnormality of a rotary rectifier by were modification of a program. SOLUTION: A brushless synchronous generator comprising a combination of a synchronous generator body 21, a rotary rectifier 23 and an exciter 24 is subjected to speed regulation control and excitation control by means of an integral controller 30. The integral controller 30 receives a generator voltage VG, a generator current IG and an exciter current If and operates an effective power PG, a reactive power QG and a generator output. A decision is made that the rotary rectifier 23 has failed, if the correlation of the exciter current, generator voltage, and generator current at actual operation deviates by a specified value from that at normal operation.</p> |
