PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an ink tank storing ink of a min. necessary kind replaceable, to hermetically close and protect an unused ink flow channel to always keep the same usable to increase the filling amt. of the desired ink in the ink tank to reduce the replacing frequency of the ink tank and to eliminate the necessity for replacing even an ink jet head to enhance economical efficiency. SOLUTION: An ink jet head having a plurality of emitting orifice rows and an ink tank 4B are individually detachable and an ink supply port 45, an atmosphere communicating port and a flow channel are respectively provided to the ink tank 4B at least one by one and, when the ink jet head 100 and the ink tank are mounted, an unused ink flow channel 108 is hermetically closed by the flow channel cap 50. |
