PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability at the time of housing the juncture and extra length of an optical fiber and to avoid the complication of the structure by providing a protrusion preventive means with mounting parts disposed at the wall part of a main body and protrusion preventive pieces mounted at these mounting parts. SOLUTION: The protrusion preventive means 15 which prevents the protrusion of the juncture 14A and the extra length 14B from an open port 12 of the main body 11, consists of the mounting parts 15A disposed at the wall part of the main body 11 and the protrusion preventive pieces 15B mounted at the mounting parts 15A. The respective protrusion preventive pieces 15B are respectively imperfectly mounted at the respective mounting parts 15A so as to be parted as far as possible from the bottom plate 11A of the main body 11. The extra length 14B including the juncture 14A of the optical fiber 14 is then wound to a circular shape of a suitable diameter and is housed into the main body 11. A cap 16 is inserted to the lower side of the respective protrusion preventive pieces 15B, by which the cap is arranged in the position where the open port 12 is closed and thereafter, the respective protrusion preventive pieces 15B are pushed into the mounting parts 15A. The open port 12 of the main body 11 is thus closed by the cap 16. |
