PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a comfortable sharing system capable of reducing server's load and allowing more clients to participate by dividing virtual space into plural cells, managing the divided cells by a server computer and transmitting/ distributing cell data among client computers by multicast. SOLUTION: The virtual space is divided into plural cells. Each slave server computer 7a manages the cell information of respective cells and informs client computers 9a, 9b,..., 9x of the cell information to be shared. The cell information is data expressing the definition of respective cells and a multicast address is allocated to respective cells. The multicast is technology for transmitting the same information to users of an un-specified number, and when the client computer 9a e.g. transmits data to the multicast address, the information is simultaneously transmitted to other client computers hearing the multicast address. |
