摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the contact surface of solid electrolyte film with an electrode three dimensional to enhance power generating efficiency by arranging electrolyte particles made of cerium oxide to which divalent or trivalent metal attached in the form of solid solution on the surface of the solid electrolyte film coming in contact with an air electrode or a fuel electrode. SOLUTION: An air electrode 2c is arranged on one surface of a solid electrolyte film 3c made of yttria stabilized zirconium(YSZ) and a fuel electrode 4c on the other surface to form a three layer film 1c. Electrolyte particles 5b are placed on the surfaces of the solid electrolyte film 3c made of YSZ with which the air electrode 2c and the fuel electrode 4c come in contact. The electrolyte particles 5b are constituted with cerium oxide to which at least one divalent or trivalent metal such as samarium is added. Because the resistance value of the cerium oxide is as low as about 1/3 that of the YSZ, the deviation of resistance values on the solid electrolyte film surface is made small.
