摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent vehicle failures in running even with a normal engine by installing a transmission mechanism for relaying the output of a submotor to a driving system and a switch for turning on/off the battery current to the submotor. SOLUTION: In a gear box 13 for deceleration, a gear 18 of a large diameter which can be geared with a pinion 17a of a submotor 17 serving as a starter motor is formed on one input shaft. The submotor 17 is wired to a battery for starting up an engine through a relay 19. In a driver's cab, a switch 20 for switching the relay 19 and running a vehicle on emergency is installed. In this system, the switch 20 is turned on to supply current to the submotor 17 from the battery through the relay 19, thereby allowing in the pinion 17a to engage with the gear 18. Then the output of the submotor 17 is transmitted to a driving system. Due to this mechanism, in the case that driving force cannot be obtained for the vehicle duet to a trouble in a motor 14 and the like, the switch 20 is turned on to allow the vehicle to run from the output of the submotor 17.
