PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize compatibility with a base IC package by confirming a target position reference point having a position corresponding to a position where a base reference point is set in a base pin layout, and allocating to a pin at one position the same operation function as that of a desired pin corresponding thereto. SOLUTION: In an IC package adopting a target pin layout 400, a pin layout 300 as a base is arranged within a target pattern 499 as a sub-set of pin surrounded by a boundary 498, and the same operation function as that of a pin at the corresponding position in a base pin layout is allocated to a position of a pin created by inserting a base pattern. For example, a pin element 410 is given the same function allocation (DLCK) as a pin element 310. The compatibility of migration (movement) between a base IC and an extended IC enables designing of a printed circuit board or other carriers for electronic device to facilitate to the base IC or extended IC. |
