PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display method capable of quickly confirming image data even with an image rough in image quality which is generated and expanded from a thumbnail beforehand without waiting for all image data to be read in the case of displaying the image data. SOLUTION: This method has a part for storing the image data and thumbnail data, a part for processing the image data and outputting the image, a communication part for exchanging the image data between data storage and image processing and a part for displaying the image data and the thumbnail. When the thumbnail that is already displayed is selected, first, the thumbnail is expanded and displayed and finally, the original image data of the thumbnail is displayed completely by refining the expanded image gradually. |
