PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily monitor the line quality of an incoming TDMA line in a multiple direction time-division multiplex radio communication system using a demand assign communication system. SOLUTION: This base station line monitoring circuit multiplexes the error detecting result of an incoming line from a terminal station to each terminal station and folds it back. At each terminal station, a terminal station line monitoring circuit 20 monitors incoming and outgoing lines. An error counting circuit 11 counts the number of bursts which generate errors among the bursts transmitted by its own station, based on the detecting result of the code error of the incoming line multiplexed to the received signal of the outgoing line. At the same time, a transmitting burst counting circuit 13 counts the number of bursts transmitted by its own station. A dividing circuit 12 calculates the ratio of the number of the bursts which generate the errors counted by the circuit 11 and the number of the transmitting bursts counted by the circuit 13 to output probability of generating an error in a burst. |
