PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform display an entire locus curve on an utilized display surface and to present a display graphic capable of quantitatively evaluating even a deviation between a target locus and an actual locus by a user. SOLUTION: In this method for obtaining the target locus SB based on stored commands, obtaining the actual locus IB based on movement actually performed by executing the commands, performing graphic display, displaying the target locus SB and the component parallel to the locus SB, of an actual locus IB by a first scale M1, displaying the components vertical to the locus SB, of the actual locus IB by a second scale M2 and nonlinearly displaying the locus curve of an NC machine or a robot especially, at the selected place of the target locus SB, the target locus SB and component parallel to the locus SB, of the actual locus IB are displayed by a third scale M3 and the components vertical to the locus SB, of the actual locus IB are displayed by a fourth scale M4.
