PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate the portrait of a subject in a short time and to reduce the burden of labor on generation of it by displaying a whole face at the time of selecting the parts of the portrait. SOLUTION: The portrait generation device generating a portrait by combining the parts of a face is provided with a parts data storage part 22 storing an image corresponding to a part number being ID of the part at every type of the part, a state storage part 23 storing the part number of the part which is selected at present at every part, a retrieval control part 21 retrieving the combination of the parts of a type except for the given type, an image compositing part 24 compositing the combination of the output of the part data storage part 22 and the part of the type except for the type on the part of the face by the retrieval control part 21, a list display device 3 displaying the list of portrait images obtained from the image synthesis part 24. The combination of the parts of the type except for the type of the parts of the face is composited for every part of the type of the parts of the face. |
