PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fixability and anti-offsetting property, to stably obtain a high quality image over a long period of time and to enable high application to an electrophotographic process which does not adversely affect photoreceptors, a toner support and an intermediate transfer body. SOLUTION: This toner for developing an electrostatic charge image has toner particles contg. at least a bonding resin, a colorant and a wax component. The toner has 2-6 μm average particle diameter on the number average of equivalent circle diameter in the particle diameter frequency distribution on the number basis, the standard deviation of particle diameter is less than 2.6, the average circularity in the circularity frequency distribution is 0.970-0.995 and the standard deviation of circularity is less than 0.030. The amt. of a residual monomer in the toner is has than or equal to 500 ppm. At observing of the sections of the toner particles using a transmission electron microscope, the wax component is dispersed island-like in the bonding resin. |
