<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording apparatus capable of enhancing transmission and enabling a high sensitivity recording by aligning a toner sheet support with the polarizing direction of recording laser beam. SOLUTION: In an image recording apparatus using a laser beam source having a polarizing direction, and applying light energy to the photosensitive layer of a recording medium 4 through a light transmission support having polarization dependence to record an image or a character on the recording medium, the polarizing direction of the support having a PET base structure and that of the laser beam from an optical head 1 are almost aligned mutually by a polarizing direction adjusting means to enhance the energy transmission of laser beam to perform high sensitivity recording.</p> |
