PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cheap and readily usable agent for preventing the photodegradation of a food, and usable for a milk, milk products, drinks, chilled desserts, frozen milk products, ice creams, frozen foods or the like by using a propolis as an active ingredient. SOLUTION: The cheap and readily usable objective agent for preventing the photodegradation of a food comprises a propolis which is gathered from a nest of honeybees and composed of a mixture of components gathered from flower bud or the like and saliva of the honeybees themselves, and has anticancer activities, germicidal activities, antiinflammatory activities, activities for inhibiting generation of peroxide, activities for enhancing immunecompetence, or the like, as an active ingredient. The objective agent can provide a food with the inhibited photodegradation by allowing a food such as a milk, milk products, drinks, chilled desserts, frozen milk products, ice creams and frozen foods to include 0.00001-0.01 wt.% objective agent. |
