PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic-controlled mechanical clock capable of reducing the metering fluctuation. SOLUTION: An electronic-controlled mechanical clock is provided with a generator 2 to convert the mechanical energy to be transmitted through a train wheel from a main spring to the electric energy, and a rotation controlling means 10 to control the period of rotation of the generator 2. The rotation controlling means 10 effects the first brake control to apply a brake to the generator by the pre-set time at a specified timing when the value of an up- down counter 60 in which the rotation detection signal FG1 corresponding to the period of rotation of the generator 2 and the reference signal fs from a time standard source are inputted reaches the first set value, and the period of rotation of the generator 2 is faster than the reference signal period. Thus, the increase of the operational speed of the generator 2 can be suppressed, and the metering fluctuation can be reduced. |
