PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for using a control channel and a communication channel in mobile communication used for a PHS system where a communication channel is expanded by using a connection type unit, radio interference is suppressed by using a control signal in common and the frequency is effectively utilized. SOLUTION: A connection type unit connects with a base station main body. A TX side and an RX side of the base station main body have control signal slots 5, 7 respectively and three communication slots. A TX side of the connection unit has 4 communication slots and an RX side of the connection unit has one control signal slot 8 and three communication slots. The main body and the connection type unit receive a control signal from a mobile set and share the control signal. When a connection request comes from the mobile set, priority is placed on assignment of the communication slot of the connection type unit. While the connection type unit is busy with three mobile sets, when a connection request comes from other mobile set, the control signal slot 8 of the connection type unit is used for a communication slot and the connection type unit can communicate with the 4th mobile set.
