The clutch connection may be made solid to overcome the resistance, for example when the window slideways are frozen by moving a member 11 having a toothed follower 12 into engagement with the driven clutch plate. The window is driven in either direction when either of switches A or Z on the vehicle door is depressed. On pressing a switch S on the vehicle dashboard at the same time as A or Z the coil 14 is energised and the member 11 moved to engage the driver clutch plate.</p> |
