<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig for pipes and branch saddles capable of maintaining a pipe and pipe fitting fitted to each other in a specified condition and accurately fixing the position of the branch pipe of the branch saddle at the part where the branch pipe of the pipe is to be provided. SOLUTION: Each of clamp bodies 11 and 11' comprises a pair of half rings which are closably hinged with each other at one end of each half ring, and their respective other ends of the two half rings 111 of one clamp body 11 and their respective other ends of the half rings 111' of the other clamp body 11' are connected with each other through arms 12 and 12', and a clamp section 121 is provided between these two arms to hold the branch pipe of a branch saddle, and these two arms 12 and 12' are detachably engaged with each other, and saddle supporting beams 13 and 13' are provided between the intermediate positions of the two half ring 111 of the clamp body 11 and the intermediate position of the half ring 111' of the other clamp body 11'. This fixing jig 1 is provided to fix the pipe and branch saddle, on which saddle pressing means 131 and 131' are provided to press the saddle of the branch saddle against this saddle supporting beam.</p> |
