摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for enlarging and reducing image data by reducing a memory capacity by allowing a reading address generating means to start the increment of an address with one line delay compared with a writing address generating means, and making the same the number of writing addresses and reading addresses for each one line. SOLUTION: The initialization of reading address RA and writing address WA of a memory 52 with a capacity for one line for variable magnification processing is operated by page units at the leading of a page, and writing area and reading area for one line are independently controlled, and the number of writing data and reading data by line units for the memory 52 is made the same. The increment of the reading address RA is started with one line delay compared with the writing address WA. The writing area and reading area for one line are independently controlled so that an image position can be also moved to a main scanning direction. Both the enlargement and reduction processing in the main scanning direction and the movement processing can be operated in a real time by using the memory capacity for one line.</p>
