PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an access door of a tower type computer unit to be opened without limitation so as to permit easy access to the inside of the unit. SOLUTION: A hinge structure 28 composed of a first and a second hinge portion which are engaged with each other to separate an access door 26 from a drive bay is provided to an access door 26. The hinge structure 28 supports the access door 26 for pivotal movement relative to a housing 20 about a pivot axis between a closed position and an open limit position in which the access door 26 respectively covers and uncovers a wall opening. When the access door 26 is made to pivot forcibly and outwards beyond an open limit position, the access door 26 is released from the housing 20, and moreover the access door 26 can be mounted again as being snapped back onto hinge pins. At this point, the access door 26 can be mounted or dismounted without damaging either the hinge structure or the housing. The access door 26 is dismounted, whereby access to the inside of a device through an opening 24 can be easily allowed. |
