PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angiometry and device and an imaging device for medical use to perform a secure angiometering based on a displayed image. SOLUTION: A related region ROI perpendicularly crossing a blood vessel wall is set in a tomographic image of a blood vessel, and the thickness, inner diameter, etc., of the blood vessel wall are measured based on a profile of picture element values in the ROI. This device has a signal sampling part 2. The signal sampling part 2 samples a signal for generating an image for medical use from a subject 4. The signal sampling part 2 is connected to an image generating part 6, and it inputs the signal sampled from the subject 4 to the image generating part 6. The image generating part 6 generates an image based on the signal inputted from the signal sampling part 2. To the image generating part 6, an image processing part 8 is connected. The image processing part 8 takes the image generated by the image generating part 6, and performs specified image processing. To the image processing part 8, a display part 10 is connected, and it displays an image outputted from the image processing part 8, and other information. The signal sampling part 2, image generating part 6, image processing part 8, and display part 10 are connected to a control part 14. |
