PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a polyester resin sheet to be prepd. without causing sticking to a calender roll by compounding a specified amt. of a fatty acid ester lubricant into a polyester resin which is prepd. by replacing a specified portion of ethylene glycol for preparing a polyethylene terephthalate resin with cyclohexanedimethanol. SOLUTION: A polyester resin which is prepd. by replacing 10-40 mol.% of ethylene glycol for preparing a polyethylene terephthalate resin with cyclohexanedimethanol in an amount of 100 pts.wt. is compounded with 0.1-2 pts.wt. fatty acid ester lubricant. Examples of the lubricant are butyl stearate, cetyl palmitate, stearic acid monoglyceride, stearic acid diglyceride, stearic acid triglyceride, montan wax acid ester, montanic acid ester partially saponified with calcium, a wax ester, and an aliph. dicarboxylic ester. |
