PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of arithmetic operations and the power consumption and to enhance the reception quality. SOLUTION: Each of plural serial/parallel converters 101-104 in a transmission section 100 that transmits an orthogonal frequency division multiple access OFDMA signal converts each of plural serial signals into a parallel signal, a rearrangement device 105 rearranges the plural converted parallel signals at an interval of 2's power to assign subcarriers, an inverse fast Fourier transform IFFT device 106 converts the parallel signals into time waveform by conducting inverse Fourier transform of a variable number at points depending on the number of the rearranged parallel signals, a parallel/serial converter 107 converts the converted parallel signals into serial signals, a D/A conversion/ orthogonal modulator 108 converts the serial signal obtained through the conversion into analog signals and then into high frequency signals, are transmitted. Thus, the amount of arithmetic operations and the power consumption are reduced. |
