PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate yellowing of white paper when a hard copy obtained through ink jet recording is preserved while being filed or when an adhesive tape is pasted to an ink receiving layer. SOLUTION: The ink jet recording sheet is provided on a support with an ink receiving layer containing synthetic amorphous silica wherein the pore volume V1 in the range of 110-200 Å of pare diameter and the pore volume V1 in the range of 10-300 Å of pore diameter satisfy formulas 1, 2; V1<=0.5(ml/g), V2>=0.8 (ml/g). |
