PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix an external conductor to a connector in a single operation in order to electrically and mechanically connect both of them, by action of a taper clamp, a wedge ring and a spring, when inserting a terminated cable from the rear end of the connector, SOLUTION: A taper clamp 18 rocks plural independent heads in its diameter direction, by providing a slot longitudinally on a cylinder having a little wider diameter than an external conductor 3 of a cable 200. A wedge ring 17 has a taper surface surrounding the head of the taper clamp 18, and the taper surface is forced into contact with the peripheral surface of the head, in order to reduce the inner diameter of the taper surface as it goes toward the tip of the head so as to form a wedge shape. A spring 19 gives a spring toward the direction to press the head of the taper clamp 18 onto the taper surface of the wedge ring 17. |
