PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform the process of waterproofing the inside of a wire harness by making it possible to secure a liquid-tight property between linear elements without performing any special operations. SOLUTION: This waterproofing method includes preparing a thermally shrinking tube 10 to the inner surface of which is bonded a capsule member 11 from which grease G contained therein leaks when it is thermally shrunk and split at its thin-walled line, then enclosing wires C in the thermally shrinking tube 10, and heating them entirely to cause the outer periphery of the wire harness W to be tightened by the thermally shrinking tube 10 and to cause the grease G to leak from the capsule member 11 and fill the spaces between the wires C. |
