PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce consumption of cleaning paper per the number of times of ink cleaning by arranging a control section for setting an actuator with a winding angle calculated such that the paper speed will be constant based on the measurements of a rotation sensor and an encoder at a paper feed section. SOLUTION: After detection of the slit in an encoder 27 at a cleaning paper supply section is started by means of a rotation sensor 26 at the cleaning paper supply section, a cleaning paper winding actuator 25 is turned at a constant angular speed ωA=π to wind a cleaning paper 22. Measurement of tM is then started at a moment when the output state of the rotation sensor 26 is changed and ended at a moment when the number of slits detected by the encoder 27 M=8 is ended. Subsequently, winding of the cleaning paper 22 is ended and the operation is stopped when the cleaning paper is moved to a position where cleaning of an ink jet section 21 is ended. |
