<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dry electrophotographic toner superior in color reproducibility by using a specified epoxy resin obtd. by condensing bisphenol and epichlorohydrin and an amine modified epoxy resin. SOLUTION: This dry electrophotographic toner contains a resin binder consisting of a resin 1 and a resin 2. The resin 1 is, e.g. a bisphenol A type epoxy resin such as a polyol having epoxy resin parts and alkylene oxide parts in the principal chain and having inert resin terminals or a polyol obtd. by allowing an epoxy resin to react with an alkylene oxide adduct of a dihydric phenol and a compd., having plural active hydrogen atoms in one molecule. The epoxy resins forming the polyols may comprise plural resins different from each other in number average mol.wt. The number average mol.wt. of the low mol.wt. component is 360-2,000 and that of the high mol.wt. component is 3,000-10,000. The resin 2 is an amine modified epoxy resin obtd. by introducing a prim. amine into the principal chain of an epoxy resin.</p> |
