PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate visual confirmation of the roughness distribution of contained fibrous body of the same material having substantially identical dimensions by forming a part of a container for storing the fibers while absorbing ink of a transparent material and composing the fibrous body by mixing a plurality of fibers of different color. SOLUTION: In an ink jet recorder comprising an ink tank 20 for storing a fibrous body 24 contained in a container 21 while absorbing ink, at least a part of the container 21 is formed of a transparent material and the fibrous body 24 is composed by mixing a plurality of fibers 24A, 24B of different color. When the fibrous body 24 is composed of a same material having substantially identical dimensions, roughness distribution of the contained fibrous body 24 can be confirmed visually. When the fibrous body 24 is composed of fibers having different characteristics, mixed state distribution of the fibrous body 24 can be confirmed visually and the state of the fibrous body 24 can be managed easily after assembling an ink tank using an image recognizer. |
