PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an easily reusable ink tank capable of being disassembled with a simple and inexpensive method. SOLUTION: An ink absorbing member 53 for holding an ink by adsorbing the ink is stored inside a box member 51 with the upper surface opened. A lid member 52 for tightly closing the upper opening portion of the box member 51 is joined with the upper surface of the box member 51. A cylindrical ink supply opening 33 is projecting from the lower surface of the box member 51, with a joint member 54 stored inside the ink supply opening 33. A breakable thin portion 55 is provided long the rim of the side wall of the box member 51. In reusing the ink tank 50a with above stated configuration after using up the ink inside the ink tank 50a, the box member 51 is disassembled by breaking the thin portion 55 so as to take out the ink absorbing body 53 and the joint member 54 from the inside of the ink tank 50a.
