PURPOSE:To obtain a desired surface form capable of suppressing the formation of voids, capable of densely forming hardly cut surface projections and enhanced in surface running durability. CONSTITUTION:A polyester film is a biaxially oriented film based on polyester A and characterized by that the number of projections of at least one surface thereof is 5X10<3>/mm<2> or more and the ratio (NR) of the number of projections/ the number of particles being the ratio of the number of projections and the number of the particles contained in the surface layer on the film is 5 or more and the average height of projections is 0.01-0.8mum. |
