FIELD: plastic metal working, possibly tube end reduction. SUBSTANCE: drawing die includes sizing and reducing zones with recesses. Recesses of reducing zone are made on portion adjoining to sizing zone. Maximum dimension of cross section normal relative to axis of drawing die from its axis until beginning of recess of reducing zone is less than outer radius of deformed blank. Contact surface between blank and drawing die on reducing zone consists (10-85)% of deformed surface of blank. Recesses may be curvilinear with variable cross section; radial; in the form of Archimedian helix. EFFECT: economy of metal and lubricant. 4 cl, 3 dwg
