PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to hold jumper cords with specified power and to hold the many jumper cords of a small size by using an optical fiber fixing guide having plural collars and having gaps to hold optical fibers between these collars. SOLUTION: The jumper fiber fixing guide is molded of a plastic material. A guide member A (a) of the parts which possess an even number of the collars 26' having gaps 29' on one side and an odd number of the collars 27' having the gaps 29' on the opposite side thereof and a guide member B (b) which is formed by rotating the one guide member A 180 deg. are superposed on each other, by which the jumper fiber fixing guide (c) is completed. A tape fiber protective tube 28' is fitted between the collars 26' and 27' having the gap 29', by which the tube is provided with holding power and is clamped (d). The wiring of the jumper cords is, thereupon, executed by first holding the jumper cords with the jumper fiber fixing guide and introducing these jumper cords through the jumper guides into extra length housing cards. |
