PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an organic sulfur compound from being eluted into an electrolyte by providing a cover layer made of a cation exchangeable ion exchange resin on a thin film made of an electrode composition using the organic sulfur compound as an active material to manufacture an electrode. SOLUTION: A cover layer 1 is provided on a thin film 3 so that the cover layer 1 made of a cation exchangeable ion exchange resin is located between an electrolyte 2 and the electrode composition thin film 3 using an organic sulfur compound as an active material. Nafion or Flemion is used as the ion exchange resin, it may be swelled by a plasticizer such as propylene carbonate or dimethyl carbonate, and the thickness of the cover layer 1 is set to about 0.5-150 μm. 2,5-dimercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazol is used as the electrode composition thin film 3, and acetylene black or Ketjen black is used as the organic sulfur compound. When this electrode is used for a battery, an excellent cycle characteristic is applied. |
