PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve visibility, to make a housing operation smooth, and to reduce a height at the time of being housed, in the case of a thin type to be arranged on an instrument panel of an automobile. SOLUTION: A 1st bearing axle 44 arranged on the upper part of a display device 11 holds a cover body 37 to be freely turned. A 2nd bearing axle 46 arranged at the bottom of the display device 11 bears a guide part 26 arranged in a base 21 to be freely turned and slide. Concerning the curve of the guide part 26, an angle 6 formed between a segment X going from the 1st bearing axle 44 to the 2nd bearing axle 46 of the display device 11 and a tangent Y of the curve of the guide part 26 passing through the axis of the 2nd bearing axle 46 is always made to be always from 100 deg. to 135 deg. at an arbitrary pointθx betweenθ0 at the time of opening the cover andθz at the time of housing it. Thus, it is possible to improve visibility by elevating an angle of the display part 14 at the time of opening it and also make an housing operation of the display device 11 smooth, and further, reduce the height of the whole device.
