PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell with small size, light weight, and high power generating capacity by chemical reaction of a liquid hydrogen compound with air. SOLUTION: A power generating chamber 1 is formed in a box type suitable for collecting, and in airtight structure with a metal plate or ceramic so as to withstand vacuum. An electrolyte 4 and a catalyst 5 are contained in the power generating chamber 1, an electrolytic dissociation chamber 6 whose surface is covered with a water shutting out layer 7 of plastic, and positive and negative electrodes are installed so as to keep a space each other. A gas exhausting pipe 8 from a vacuum pump 9 and a fuel introducing pipe 11 from an adjusting valve 10 are installed at the top of the power generating chamber 1, and an air introducing pipe 12 from an adjusting valve 10 and a water sending pipe 14 connected to a water exhausting pump 13 are installed at the bottom of the power generating chamber 1. By setting the vacuum pump, constituting the vacuum space, and accelerating the chemical reaction in the vacuum, power generating efficiency is enhanced. |
