PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photometry device whose constitution is simple, which is constituted so that the degree of freedom as for the arranging place thereof is enhanced and which can be made inexpensive by changing the relative positions of a photometry sensor and a photometry optical system by interlocking with the focal distance changing action of an optical system whose focal distance can be changed. SOLUTION: When a zooming action is executed by the photographing optical system, a cam plate 16 is driven in the upper and the lower directions of a camera by the rotational force of a first cam barrel 2 through an interlocking bear 13 and an idler gear 15. Then, the photometry optical system 17 is moved forward and backward in the direction of an optical axis along the lift of a cam groove 16b. That means, the positions of the optical system 17 and the photometry sensor 19 are gradually separated by interlocking with the change of the zooming state of the photographing optical system. Since the relative positions of the sensor 19 and the optical system 17 are changed in response to the zooming action of the photographing optical system, the respective photometry ranges of respective focal distance positions are always made constant with respect to a photographic picture frame. Thus, the degree of freedom for arranging the photometry device is increased in the camera. |
